Zoinksman is the fourth episode of the second season of Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get a Clue!, and the seventeenth overall.
Premise[]
Scooby and Shaggy track Dr. Phibes to a volcanic island where their mission is to stop him from rigging the massive volcano to explode. Shaggy brings a superhero suit which he thinks will help.
Synopsis[]
Shaggy discovers a robotic suit Uncle Albert left behind in his laboratory, but Robi warns it is too dangerous to use due to its numerous design flaws. Robi then receives a message from Uncle Albert, who warns them of Phibes' new plan. Developing a lair on a remote volcanic island, he plans to detonate a bomb in the supervolcano powerful enough to place the entire world in a nuclear winter. He orders his agents to prepare the bomb, but they fear Quitchyhupo, a legendary bat monster rumoured to roam the volcano.
Shaggy and Scooby travel to the island, but Shaggy brings the robotic suit with him, wanting his own superhuman powers like Scooby. However, because he struggles to control his suit, Phibes detects their presence. As his agents prepare the bomb, he calls General Macardle, ordering a meeting with world leaders. However, as Shaggy and Scooby venture inside the volcano, the agents spot them and mistake them for Quitchyhupo. Though they terrify the agents, Shaggy loses control of his robotic suit, dropping all his Scooby Snacks into magma, and the agents capture Scooby, bringing them to Phibes.
While Phibes prepares to drop Scooby into the magma, Shaggy retreats and prepares a plan at the Mystery Machine. Covering himself with ketchup, he appears to Phibes, pretending Quitchyhupo attacked him. He then operates the robotic suit remotely, which Phibes and his agents all mistake for Quitchyhupo. Terrified, they all retreat, abandoning the plan. Despite their mission success, Shaggy decides to abandon the robotic suit, no longer wanting to use it in future missions.
