The aunt of Daphne's high school friend Meiko Ito had called the gang over to her famous Japanese restaurant to help solve a case of strange supernatural surprises going around, and her niece going missing. It would later turn out that the owner of the restaurant next door happened to be very jealous of her success, and attempted to close down the restaurant so theirs would get more customers.
