The Central–Mid-Levels escalator in Hong Kong is the longest outdoor escalator in the world, spanning over 800 metres. Mystery Inc. used the escalator to reach the Peak Mall at the summit of Victoria Peak.

Mystery Inc. used the escalator to reach the summit of Victoria Peak to visit Harold Ling's store at the Peak Mall. However, when a dragon chased them out of the mall, they rode a rickshaw and rolled down the escalator, threatening to fall over the edge of a cliff. Mei Ling rescued them, capturing them with a large flag before they could fall off the cliff.
