Witch Doctor was the disguise of John Simms.

Physical appearance[]

The Witch Doctor has light skin, wore a pink and orange robe, and a Hawaiian voodoo witch doctor mask. He carried a spear with a skull like design. He also had decorative leaves around his ankles.

Personality[]

The Witch Doctor does not appear to be very intelligent or perceptive since he's unable to notice Shaggy or Scooby when they simply put palm fronds on their faces. The Witch Doctor also commonly jumps around, making odd noises, either out of rage or excitement.

History[]

The Witch Doctor, assumed to be the disguise of an associate of Mr. Simms, first appeared shortly after Mr. Simms left with Fred, Daphne, and Velma. He scared Shaggy and Scooby away from the beach and chased them into the Tiki Tiki Lounge.

Later on, he kidnapped Daphne, as he assumed she knew too much, and locked her under a statue. Before all the clues are found, he wanders the graveyard, but he left after falling for Shaggy and Scooby's tree disguise, requiring palm fronds.

When all the clues are found, he wanders the haunted village until he's lured by Shaggy and Scooby to the storeroom where he's tripped by a vine, held by Velma and Daphne, causing him to trip onto a grass mat. Stunned, the gang captured and unmasked him, discovering that he was John Simms. They deduced his smuggling operation involving stolen pearls and it was assumed he was arrested after he curses the gang.
