Whoopi Goldberg is an American actor. She is most known for her work on Ghost, Sister Act and its sequel Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit (also starring Kathy Najimy), The Color Purple, Guinan in Star Trek: The Next Generation (guest-starring Dwight Schultz) and Shenzi in The Lion King. She is also one of the hosts on the ABC talk show The View.
