Synopsis
Mystery Inc. was taking a trip on a cruise, where they were taking a case. Oceanic creatures invaded the ship, causing panic across the ship. Shaggy and Scooby ran away, but ended up going in a circle because there was not much way to run on a ship. The sea creatures wanted to rob the passangers, and Poseidon appeared when they refused. However, they still refused because they got their reinforcements in Aquaman, who they had helped earlier fight the Legion of Doom. Aquaman threw his trident at poseidon, but it went through him like a ghost or a hologram. He then diappeared, and his helpers tried to disappear underwater. The Scooby Gang followed with their scooba gear and Aquaman and Queen Mera managed to beat them. The "sea creatures" were revealed to be humans in suits, but were unable to be unmasked as they were underwater.
The goons were defeated, but the mystery of Poseidon remained. Fred found a hologram projector that created an image of the ancient God of the Sea, which led Aquaman to point a finger at the mantamen and Black Manta, who had captured Aquababy. Aquaman was unable to fight Black Manta while he held Aquababy, so the infant took it into his own hands. Black Manta was beaten, but unable to be unmasked due to his underwater status. Manta revealed his true purpose upon interrogation: Manta was leading Aquaman away from Atlantis so Ocean Master could invade. Meanwhile, Atlanteans, including Aqualad and Aquagirl, defended their homes from the invaders long enough for Aquaman to reinforce them. Ocean Master's forces surrender, but it takes a punch from Mera to defeat him.
