History[]
Scooby-Doo (DC Comics)[]
The werewolf was a curse that ran in the Lupyne family for generations, as it made it's recent appearance scaring Lucas Lupyne, the "black sheep" of the family, when he was heading out for fresh air away from his snobbish family members.
It later went and hid in a backroom filled with food as the gang, along with mystery writer and solver Nancy Klew arrived to ask any of the potential suspects of who could be behind it. Shaggy and Scooby snuck off into the backroom for the food, only for the werewolf to jump them from behind and scare them out. This ended up giving attention to Velma and Nancy during their argument about Lucas being behind the werewolf curse, but it shortly continued after the former mentioned about a potential accomplice. Shaggy and Scooby snuck away during the argument and entered the kitchen to attempt getting the food there, but were quickly jumped again when the werewolf came out of a secret hatch from behind them, only to knock it out with a jar of cookies.

Marcy unmasked.
It was unmasked a couple seconds later when the others entered the room, and it turned out to be Nancy's twin sister Marcy. The two twins went out of the way to stage the entire case and payed Lucas to put the gang off trail all because Nancy wanted to promote her new book with the help from Mystery Inc. even though she could've just went to a talk show instead.
