Weerd is one of two ghosts, along with Bogel, who tricked Shaggy Rogers and Scooby-Doo into opening the Chest of Demons;[1] subsequently, however, they serve only as incompetent henchmen to whichever monster was released from the chest.
Physical appearance[]
Weerd is a slim and somewhat small ghost, but still taller than Bogel. He is opaque rather than transparent or translucent. He has simple white eyes with black pupils. He has weird, stringy "hair" on top of his head.
Personality[]
Although brainless and amateurish, he's a little bit brainier than Bogel is. Despite being aggravated by his companion frequently, they stay together and are almost never far from each other at all times, possibly due to having similar goals and wishes. He also has the power to use black magic.
Powers and abilities[]
- Levitation
- Invisibility
- Black magic

- He and Bogel were supposed to have cameos in the direct-to-video film Scooby-Doo! and the Curse of the 13th Ghost, where they appeared as monks on the temple's artwork, implicating whether or not they were creatures of supernatural origin or the ghosts of the dead monks.[2]
