Warner Bros. Animation (WBA) is a division of Warner Bros., and a subsidiary of WarnerMedia, formerly Time Warner, founded in 1930. It was and is famous for producing the theatrical Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies shorts (including such stars as Wile E. Coyote, the Road Runner and the Tasmanian Devil). Since 1990, WBA has primarily focused upon the production of television and feature animation of other properties, notably including those related to WarnerMedia's DC Comics publications (including Batman and Superman), as well as Scooby-Doo and Tom and Jerry franchises.

Hanna-Barbera Cartoons was folded into Warner Bros. Animation in 2001, after the death of the co-founder William Hanna.
