Concept art of Walter Peabody

Peabody is a short man who seems to be somewhat old, with a hunchback posture and balding brown hair. He wears large spectacle glasses, a whitish gray suit with a white undershirt, brown pants and shoes.

Personality[]

Peabody seems like a very eerie man since he speaks in a very rasper and monotone voice. Despite how tried Peabody seems somewhat friendly but this is likely a front to hide his very greedy nature.

Walter Peabody unmasked

Walter unmasked.

Everyone from the library had left due to the mysterious hauntings, except Peabody. When the gang came to investigate for Alan Dinsdale, they met Walter, who said the basement key had been lost, therefore Shaggy Rogers and Scooby-Doo couldn't search down there. After they capture the Fake Ghost, it was unmasked to be none other than Walter. The gang found a telegram for Walter, with instructions for the Tome of Doom reading, "S.D." Walter was then hauled off to jail, with the telegram remaining ambiguous.[1]
