Waldo was the assistant to Herbert Smith.

Physical appearance[]

Not shown or explained in detail.

Personality[]

He seemed rather helpful and cared about his boss, but was later revealed to be a sinister and disrespectful person, using the story of Herbert Smith's great great grandfather as an excuse of him being behind the disappearing cars problem so he could get away with it, and holding people at gun point for being in the way.

History[]

Scooby Doo... Where Are You! (Charlton Comics)[]

Waldo first showed up after being called by Herbert Smith to open the door to let the gang's van in for fixing, despite knowing very well it'll disappear the following morning because of the rumored stories that the ghost of Herbert's great great grandfather might be behind it.

The following night, he and an unnamed accomplice stopped a truck by the garage after Herbert left for the night and went in to get the van loaded up. Unaware at first, the gang had Shaggy and Scooby go in and try to make the jump at them, but they quickly responded to their attempts by holding them at gun point, he then boasted about how the whole scheme would wouldn't go to waist do to them interrupting the scheme, but before he could finish them off, he and his partner were knocked out by the ghost of Mean Blacksmith Smith, who materialized behind them and hitted them over the heads with a horseshoe.

After the ghost left, the rest of the gang came in and thought Shaggy and Scooby did the work in knocking them out.
