History[]
Scooby-Doo! Beginner Mysteries[]
The vampires were two regular bats that went missing during the large scare event going around, so Scott McFadden, the zoo owner, contacted the gang to help look for them and the other animals that went missing.
The two vampires first appeared in separate spots around the zoo, with one attacking Shaggy and Scooby after a little encounter with a baby elephant, and the other went for Fred and the girls after encountering Rocco the spider monkey and a gorilla. Shaggy and Scooby's vampire chased them around and later ran off after they almost crashed on him while sliding around in penguin costumes, and later joined the second one in searching for the rest of the gang.
After not finding Fred and the others, they found Scott and the two cowards by the big cats section of the zoo, but were distracted by the two's disguise trick method and scared away by an actual lion hiding behind them.
After the gang found where the hidden animals, the two vampires were led into a trap evolving a cage being dropped on them in the monkey exhibit, but when that failed, plan B was started. Said plan ended up failing in the big cat exhibit. Scott decided to chime in with plan Z (hence they were in a zoo), where they were led to various exhibits and counterattacked by the animals.

The two brothers unmasked.
The two of them were tied up by Rocco and the other spider monkeys and then unmasked to reveal Barty and Billy Bohannan. The circus brothers who originally ran the zoo and had their animals bought by Scott, do to mistreatment, so they wore the vampire disguises to pretend the bats turned into them, and hid unicycles under robes to give a convincing flying effect in order to steal back their animals.
