Notes/trivia

  • The episode title is a play on the titles "uncle and aunt" so it sounds like "Uncle Scooby and Aunt Arctica".
  • "Uncle Scooby" was also an affectionate nickname, his nephew, Scrappy-Doo, called him.
  • The zoo would likely be in Coolsville, but that isn't explicitly established.
  • The Mystery Machine does not appear.
  • In closed captioning, Zelig is called "Zella".

Miscellaneous

Cultural references

  • Armand Zola is a reference to the Marvel comic book villain Arnim Zola, who transfers his mind between robotic bodies to avoid death.

Animation mistakes and/or technical glitches

  • In one scene the fur on Daphne's hood is white instead of purple.

Inconsistencies/continuity errors and/or goofs/oddities

  • It's unknown if Zola owned the Cape Dart Way Station or owned, and what happened to it after he decided to leave.
