The U-boat was a submarine from the Second World War and is now an exhibit at the Museum of Future Sciences.

History[]

Early history[]

The U-boat was a naval submarine used by Nazi forces during the Second World War. During the war, the U-boat attempted to transport a supply of gold, but when the submarine was captured by Allied forces, the gold mysteriously disappeared. The gold was believed to have been lost. In reality, the gold was smelted and disguised as various parts around the submarine, but it was left undiscovered for several decades.

The U-boat was transported to the Museum of Future Sciences in Chicago, Illinois to be displayed as an exhibit. When an unnamed janitor was cleaning the submarine, she discovered the gold and participated in a scheme to steal the gold. She took the gold parts, replacing them with plastic replicas, and smelted the gold into ingots at the coal mine exhibit. She created the Technomancer disguise to deter others from interfering in her operations.

Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?[]

While investigating the Technomancer, Mystery Inc. found traces amount of gold at the coal mine, leading them to the U-boat for further investigation. There, they discovered that one of the parts was made of plastic instead of metal. With this, they spoke with the museum director to question if the parts had been deliberately replaced with plastic replicas.

Later, after the janitor was revealed as the culprit, teenage inventor Steve Urkel accidentally knocked over the entire submarine, possibly damaging it.
