Two Mites Make It Wrong is the single story of Scooby-Doo! Team-Up #3, by DC Comics.

Premise

Who's better: Scooby-Doo or Batman? Their biggest fans, who happen to be two mischievous imps, put it to the test.

Synopsis

Batman , Robin , and Mystery Inc are investigating the suppliers of the costumes villains wear when they commit crimes when they come up on a warehouse. There they meet and quickly defeat The Spook and False Face . However, when Fred tries to unmask them, the two criminals keep having different faces. Realizing who was behind the prank, Batman called out Bat-Mite as he was behind the trickery. Bat-Mite is Batman's biggest fan, and a fifth-dimensional imp, and helps the Caped Crusader by making his adventures "more awesome". To prove this, Bat-Mite turns the gang into apes, babies, and then tries to make Shaggy and Scooby fight the Dynamic Duo. He then gives Mystery Inc. Batman-esque costumes, and made The Spook into a real ghost and the costumes they were selling into actual monsters. Daphne quickly deals with The Spook by unasking him, which made the remainder of the mosnters turn back into costumes. Bat-Mite then questions how The Spook was beaten, as only fifth dimensional magic should be able to revert him. Scooby-Mite then appears, revealing that he was responsible for the revertation of The Spook. The two then get into a feud on which characters were better by transforming them and setting monsters on them. It gets so out of hand that the two fifth-dimensional beings try to create a "Crisis of Infinite Scoobies" by bringing in the multiverse of Scooby-Doo's. Daphne then explodes at them and, with Batman's support, convince the two to leave by claiming that they would have some awesome adventurs in the future. Batman takes The Spook and False Face into custody, just in time for Robin's biggest fan, Larry , to appear and trap the group on bowling pins and targets.

Notes/trivia

• The story title is a pun on the popular dictate "two wrongs don't make a right".
• The Mystery Machine is absent.
• Although it seemed Robin and Mystery Inc. were roughly the same age, when they're de-aged, Robin is a baby, while the gang are children, along with Batman.

Cultural references

• Bat-Mite transforms the gang into parodies of Men in Black, Ghostbusters, and My Little Pony.

Coloring mistakes

• None known.

Inconsistencies/continuity errors and/or goofs/oddities

• The reader is expected to believe that all the bad guys over the years have been buying their costumes and equipment from Gotham City. This is just not possible, as a lot of crooks have put their costumes together by themselves or have gone to places other than the warehouse in this issue.
• When Bat-Mite turned the gang and the Dynamic Duo into babies, only Robin was actually a baby, everyone else was just miniaturised versions of their older selves.
• Out of the four panels he appears in, two of them show the Ghost of Elias Kingston as a cross between himself and the Creeper.
