Thomas "Tom" James Kenny is an American voice actor, screen actor, stand-up comedian, and singer. One of Tom Kenny's most notable voice roles is as Nickelodeon's Spongebob Squarepants, he also voices Gary the Snail and live-action character Patchy the Pirate. Other roles include Heffer Wolfe in Rocko's Modern Life, the Mayor and Narrator on The Powerpuff Girls, Dog in CatDog. In later years he has portrayed the Penguin in The Batman, Starscream and Isaac Sumdac in Transformers: Animated, and Iron Man and Captain America in The Super Hero Squad Show.
Aside from voice acting, Kenny starred in the short-lived Fox sketch show The Edge and was a cast member of the HBO sketch comedy program Mr. Show, where he worked with his wife, Jill Talley.
