History[]
Early history[]
The Thraber Estate was the residence of magnate Charles M. Thraber, who looted art from various locations around the world. Keeping the treasures he collected in his mansion, Thraber held lavish celebrations there to flaunt his wealth. Following his death, Thraber was discovered to have stolen his treasures, so international governments seized most of his treasures from the mansion. The only treasure that remained was the golden ceiling of the Francesi Palace, which was hidden under a layer of plaster in one of the mansion's rooms. The mansion's caretaker, aware of the ceiling's existence, sought to extract it and sell it on the black market, disguising himself as Thraber's ghost to scare others away from the scene of the crime.
Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?[]
Mystery Inc. and internet personality Liza Koshy arrived at the Thraber Estate to investigate the ghost. However, they also found from a realtor that the mansion was scheduled to be demolished that same night, who intended to turn the property into a fitness center. Therefore, they hurried in concluding their investigation before the crime scene was demolished, exposing the caretaker for posing as the ghost and finding the lost ceiling.
