The Searchers is a 1956 epic Western film starring John Wayne and set in Llano Estacado in Texas. Carol Burnett developed a virtual reality simulation of the film which was tested by her and Mystery Inc.

The simulation of The Searchers was the second of Carol Burnett's virtual reality simulations tested by Mystery Inc. When they entered, they attempted to recreate one of the scenes in which they trekked through the desert, but when they arrived at the saloon they were attacked by several duplicate ghost monsters (which was created by a computer virus). The ghost monster chased Mystery Inc. into the world of another film simulation, based on the 1935 comedy film A Night at the Opera.
