The Scooby of a Thousand Faces! is the sixth episode of season 1 of Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?
Premise[]
Mystery Inc. and Wonder Woman battle against a minotaur at a museum in Greece.
Synopsis[]
Mystery Inc. visits a museum in Greece displaying ancient Greek statues. However, after Shaggy and Scooby damage several of the statues in an accident, one of the statues, one of a minotaur, breaks to reveal a real minotaur underneath. Freed, the minotaur attacks Mystery Inc, only to be warded off by legendary heroine Wonder Woman. While Wonder Woman trains only the female members of Mystery Inc. (Daphne and Velma) in combat, Fred, Shaggy and Scooby investigate the crime.
The investigators discover an urn depicting a map of Greece inside the exhibit, but the minotaur appears to take the urn. Mystery Inc. decides to travel to the town of Delphi, the origins of the urn and the place where the legendary Golden Head of Apollo is rumoured to be buried. While Scooby and Wonder Woman fly the Invisible Jet, the other members of Mystery Inc. drive to the town.
In Delphi, they discover an inscription on a cave wall hinting the head is located in Olympia, but they are confronted by the minotaur, who causes the cave to collapse before disappearing. Before following the minotaur's tracks to Olympia, Wonder Woman decides to train all members of Mystery Inc. for various combat abilities and physical dexterity.
In Olympia, they unearth the buried Golden Head of Apollo buried by the plinth of a statue of Zeus. However, the minotaur appears at the same time. Making use of a trapdoor in the arena, Wonder Woman and Mystery Inc. successfully capture the minotaur, and although Wonder Woman previously believed the minotaur was a real monster, it is revealed that it is really the museum's curator in disguise. The curator participated in a search lasting for several years for the Golden Head of Apollo, using the minotaur disguise to cover up his operations.
With the curator handed to authorities, Wonder Woman bid farewell to Mystery Inc. before departing to her residence in Themyscira.
