The New Scooby Doo Mysteries show first aired in 1984, as a continuation of 1983's The New Scooby and Scrappy Doo Show. Thirteen more half-hour episodes, each consisting of 2 11-minute episodes, aired for one season on ABC. Along with the previous year's The New Scooby and Scrappy-Doo Show, with which it shares its format, it is the sixth incarnation of the Scooby-Doo franchise.
