The New Scooby Doo Mysteries show first aired in 1984, as a continuation of 1983's The New Scooby and Scrappy Doo Show. Thirteen more half-hour episodes, each consisting of 2 11-minute episodes, aired for one season on ABC. Along with the previous year's The New Scooby and Scrappy-Doo Show, with which it shares its format, it is the sixth incarnation of the Scooby-Doo franchise.

Overview[]

The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries in 1984, continued the same format as The All New Scooby and Scrappy Doo Show, and, as an added bonus, included six two-part episodes featuring (both or one of) original Mystery Inc. characters Fred Jones and Velma Dinkley, both absent from the series for five years.
