History
The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries
Blimp conspired to steal the Mask of Medusa so that he could turn world leaders and his enemies into stone. His henchman Wilmer informed him of Scooby-Doo's presence, and knowing the canine's reputation as a mystery solver, he planned to turn him to stone as well.
When the gang stopped at Anna's taverna, Blimp and Wilmer disguised themselves as waiters hoping to get information on the mask. They tried to getaway after hearing where the mask was located, but Scooby blew his cover by mistake.
He followed the gang to the Cyclops Cave where he ordered the Cyclops monster (who was really Professor Mikos) to apprehend them. He was accidentally turned to stone by Scooby who found the mask, but turned back to normal with Anna's help. He attempted to escape with the mask, but was tricked into surrendering when Scooby and Scrappy fooled him with the cyclops costume.
