The Tardigrade Monster was the disguise of Jacques Pierre and Pierre Jacques.
Physical appearance[]
The tardigrade monster was a grey tardigrade enlarged to the point that it was larger than a human. It had a bean-shaped body (resembling a bear) and had eight legs with three black claws on each foot. It had no facial features other than a tubular mouth lined with pointed teeth.
Personality[]
The tardigrade monster was a hostile, brutish creature which attacked its victims by chasing them throughout the station. It also took advantage of the space station's environment to attack from different angles, crawling through vents and sometimes outside of the station.
Skills and abilities[]
- Space station knowledge: The monster is familiar with the station's layout, as it is able to crawl through ventilation ducts between rooms. This allowed the monster to appear and disappear in unpredictable ways.
- Outer space resistance: In two instances, the tardigrade has been seen outside the station and in outer space. This means that the monster's costume has been designed to withstand the temperature and pressure extremes of outer space.
History[]
Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?[]
Season one[]
After creating potentially-valuable samples aboard the Multinational Space Station, scientists Jacques Pierre and Pierre Jacques created the tardigrade disguise to smuggle the samples back to Earth. The tardigrade monster was first seen growing out of a microscope, where monster appeared to grow due to a botched gene modification. The monster then attacked scientists Neil deGrasse Tyson and Aiko. During the attack, Jacques Pierre and Pierre Jacques faked their own deaths so they could escape the station as the tardigrade. However, Tyson placed the station under lockdown, preventing their exit.

Jacques Pierre and Pierre Jacques unmasked.
The tardigrade monster then attacked Mystery Inc. and Bill Nye shortly following their arrival at the station; Shaggy, however, accidentally launched the escape pod during the chase, again preventing the monster's escape. As a last resort, the monster attacked Nye, stealing his keys to his experimental voyager. However, before it was able to escape, it fell into a trap created by Mystery Inc., though the trap did not work as intended and the monster was ejected from the spaceship towards the Earth's gravitational field. Mystery Inc. rescued the monster using the space voyager, but was too far into the Earth's orbit and was forced to land on Earth. After being unmasked, Pierre and Jacques were handed over to authorities for their crimes.
