The biggest oddity of this episdoe is all the functional equipment on the abandoned air field. Regardless of the field being public or military wouldn't every piece of working equipment be stripped when they shut the field down?
- It's actually not uncommon for things to be forgotten or left behind when shutting down facilities, particularly if the job was rushed. Urban explorers will often find facilities with plenty of valuable and salvageable equipment and sometimes even running power.
Another Oddity[]
The above makes a very good point. The one I thought of was why would there be a lifeboat in the cockpit of an aeroplane, as it appeared to break Federal Air Regulations pertaining to Life Rafts, given the cramped space. http://www.winslowliferaft.com/fars.html
