There was a real Valdronya in the movie. When Van Helsing had shown the body in the tomb, it was meant to be a hologram. However, there was no holographic image in the curtain. Plus, when Valdronya's eyes were glowing, he would be all glowing if he was a hologram. Even when Shaggy and Scooby were left alone, his eyes were still glowing. Valdronya couldn't have been a hologram, but a real vampire, there was no holographic image in the curtains covering the tomb. If it was a projector, there would be. When Velma was looking at the tomb claiming it was dirty, we could see the body from the inside. We clearly saw a real vampire.
When the Fangenzanz were resurrecting Valdronya, Henry was asleep. He claimed that a vampire with green eyes caused magic spells on him. However, Van Helsing was with the Scooby gang in the theater. So Valdronya appeared to Henry and hypnotized him while Van Helsing was in the theater.
When the Fangenzanz were resurrecting the vampire, they used a spell from the old vampire book. That is what had caused Valdronya's eyes to glow again while Valdronya was in the museum. This caused a great Earthquake in the museum, ruining everything. Something way more than a hologram. When Valdronya appeared in the theater, while Van Helsing was there, he couldn't have been a hologram. The theater collapsed and Valdronya emitted hypnotizng gas which caused the actors to be sleepy. This clearly shows that it wasn't a hologram. The theater and the museum wouldn't collapse if it was a hologram, nor would there be gas. But since Valdronya was in fact a real vampire, this was completely normal to happen.
When Valdronya appeared in the museum about to steal Daphne, he was first a bat and then a vampire. He couldn't have been Van Helsing, since the bat form isn't big enough for him, and couldn't also be a hologram, because for one, he emitted gas to Daphne, causing her to get dizzy, and two, when he left flying, he broke the window, which means he wasn't a hologram. Couldn't be Van Helsing, since Van Helsing doesn't fit in the bat form, nor could it be a projector, since it emitted gas and broke the window, things a projector can't do.
When Valdronya caught Van Helsing in the swamp, Van Helsing did NOT kick, something he was supposed to do. Also, the location was different. When Van Helsing was dragged by Valdronya in the swamp, we see that the boat was actually floating. Later on, when Velma kicked the ground showing a machine, only Velma's feet were inside the water no higher than her ankles. In the previous scene when Van Helsing was dragged in the swamp by Valdronya, the boat was still going. If it was the same location Velma was in later on, the boat would be stuck and wouldn't keep on going. This shows that these were different locations, so it wasn't the machine Van Helsing was supposed to use with kicking. Different location from the machine supposed to function with kicking the ground, Van Helsing did NOT kick the ground, and Valdronya dragged him in the swamp. Why? He was a real vampire.
Finally, when the Fangenzanz called for Valdronya, he had risen out of the water. It couldn't be Van Helsing, as a relatively long time had passed and Van Helsing can't breathe underwater, plus, when Valdronya had risen, he cast a spell that would make the actors sleepy and then immortal. It wasn't a knockout gas machine. The spell was OUTISDE Valdronya's hand. With Van helsing, he used concealed knockout gas. However, the spell of Valdronya had round shape, without being in his hand. It was thus a real spell, not from a machine, that likely turned the actors immortal and showing that Valdronya was real. (And possibly the actors are immortal)
And to end this, in the end of the movie during the unmasking revealing Van Helsing, there is a difference between the real Valdronya and the fake one as Van Helsing. That being, Valdronya was hypnotizing his victims, or occasionally making them fall in love (shown with Daphne). Van Helsing before unmasked, simply made them cough. It was a large amount of gas, for a long time, but not Valdronya's real spell of hypnotizing. It simply just made them cough, for a long time, while Valdronya's spell made them fall in love or sleep almost instantly. No one was hypnotized or went to sleep or had fallen in love, showing a difference between the fake and the real Valdronya.
It is unknown what happened to the real Valdronya. He presumably flew away. The same had possibly happened with the crimson witch in kiss rock n roll mystery. There were two witches, a fake one and a real one. Presumably the real witch flew away too. Possibly the same has happened with Valdronya. We don't know about either one's fate.
Aphrodite relationship[]
It's possible that when Valdronya says beauty so bright, he is referring to planet Venus. As his name means Lord of Venus, alias, Aphrodite, it can be theorized that the beauty being bright is referring to the reason why the planet Venus was named after the goddess Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty. It took that name because of it's brightness. Saying Dark with the Moon might refer that the planet Venus although second brightest object of the night sky is still able to maintain it's light. He even continues saying from Earth to the stars and all that's between, which could refer to the fact that Venus is the closest celestial body to Earth other than the Moon, but talks about beauty, something that Venus is known for. So Valdronya's song might be referring to the planet Venus.
It's also possible, that Valdronya views Daphne's beauty equal to that of goddess Aphrodite, by saying those rhymes. This could refer to an event of Greek Mythology. Psyche was a mortal whose beauty was known to be equal to that of Aphrodite. Some say that she was turned into the goddess of the soul after marrying Eros, the son of Aphrodite and that her mortal beauty would now be eternal. Valdronya even continues saying immortal beauty, after he supposedly makes Daphne's beauty eternal. So it's possible that he views her as beautiful as Psyche and Aphrodite.
