Continuity discussion[]

The continuity discussion can be continued here, if desired. I'll point out one simple discrepancy for now. Vincent Van Ghoul is a mere actor in the SDMI world. The powerful warlock of 13 Ghosts would have made short work of Nightfright in episode 19, not to mention that Shaggy and Scooby acted as if they had never met him before. --RockSunner 21:51, March 28, 2012 (UTC)

Nickname[]

Has he ever been called "Flim" before? I don't ever remember hearing that. -- Anythingspossibleforapossible (talk) 17:40, January 4, 2016 (UTC)

I don't think so, but it's been years since i have seen all the episodes. and thank you.Emrabt (talk) 18:26, January 4, 2016 (UTC)

I can now confirm that scappy calls him "Flim" in Episode 4.Emrabt (talk) 00:16, January 5, 2016 (UTC)

Thanks. -- Anythingspossibleforapossible (talk) 00:21, January 5, 2016 (UTC)

Cartoon Network bumpers[]

I've seen Scrappy in bumpers, but not Flim-Flam. -- Anythingspossibleforapossible (talk) 18:32, January 4, 2016 (UTC)

Apart from the one episode of Mystery INC. I don't think i've seen Flim-Flam mentioned anywhere. He certainly wasn't used on any of the Cartoon Network bumpers in the UK.Emrabt (talk) 18:43, January 4, 2016 (UTC)

Flim-Flam's Race[]

Are we sure Flim-Flam's latino/hispanic? His race is never said anywhere in the show but Charles Howell says he's based off of Short Round which would make him Asian Muddlemore (talk) 19:24, August 22, 2018 (UTC)

I think he gives off kind of a Latino/Hispanic vibe, but than again I'm not really sure. Now that you bring it up, he does almost sound like Short Round, although Flim-Flam's race is as ambiguous as Data's real name from The Goonies (not sure where they get the real name from, but I'm going off track). How would we explain his ethnicity without referring to his race? -- TheAtomicLight (talk) 20:58, August 22, 2018 (UTC)
Maybe just say he's "light-brown skinned" and mention the Short Round thing in the trivia section? Muddlemore (talk) 22:46, August 22, 2018 (UTC)
Okay, I altered his description to how you put it. You can add the reference in the trivia sectionf. -- TheAtomicLight (talk) 23:43, August 22, 2018 (UTC)

I'll add a reference later Muddlemore (talk) 01:31, August 23, 2018 (UTC)

Four and a half million Latinos are of Asian descent as per Wikipedia. It's not cut and dry. Then you must also take into account that Native Americans often have Asian DNA as well, which would translate into a small percentage for those who descended from them. I know Short Round is often referenced, but the kid in Humphrey Bogart's The Treasure of Sierra Madre obviously influenced Flim's personality as well. My two cents.

Modernization[]

If Flim-Flam appeared in modern day productions he would've been voiced by Cathy Wesluck.Jeff Meredith (talk) 15:50, November 19, 2018 (UTC)

I have never heard of hear. But don't use this page to speculate about something of no consequence. It just reads like spam. -- TheAtomicLight (talk) 16:55, November 19, 2018 (UTC)

Flim-Flam in the Curse of the 13th Ghost[]

Shouldn't this page be edited for Flim-Flam's return in Curse of the 13th Ghost?
