When the gang found a crystallomacy book during the Ghost of Elias Kingston case, they headed into town to consult a swami. The swami was out, and Scooby-Doo wound up impersonating the swami when a customer unexpectedly entered. After the customer left, the face of Kingston appeared in the crystal ball and the table levitated, chasing them about the room. It crashed, revealing a fan-like motor beneath, and more clues quickly revealed themselves: packed suitcases, a professional make-up kit, and a closed circuit TV camera, suitable for broadcasting images onto the crystal ball.
