The Super Fans are a group of hockey fans cheering for the United States team at the Moscow Invitational Hockey Tournament, shouting the phrase "U.S.A.!" in canon during the game (each member shouting a letter). Mystery Inc. suspected them of orchestrating Frozen Fiend attacks to sabotage opposing teams.

Season three[]

Mystery Inc. watched as the Super Fans cheered for the United States team playing against the Finnish team in the Moscow Invitational Hockey Tournament. However, when the Finnish team scored a goal, the Super Fans left the arena in anger, threatening action against the Finnish team. Just as they left, the Frozen Fiend, the supposed ghost of an exiled hockey player, appeared, terrorizing the event, so Mystery Inc. suspected their involvement in the attacks.

Fred and Daphne investigated the Super Fans' trailer for clues, where they found blue paint; the shade was lighter than the American team's colour, but was roughly the same colour as the monster's costume. One of the members, Sam, caught them, but cast suspicion on the other two members, Bob and Joe.

The Super Fans were proven innocent of all crimes after Mystery Inc. instead incriminated figure skater Galina Korzhakov as the Frozen Fiend. However, Velma exposed Joe for using the light blue paint to secretly cheer for the Swedish team.

Trivia[]

  • Fred places himself as an honorary member of the group, painting an exclamation mark on his body, 'completing' the acronym.
