Scoobypedia

Striking Terror is the first of two stories in Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? #107. It was followed by the reprint, Witch Pitch.

Premise[]

At the the Coolsville Bowling Alley, something is causing strange electrical problems with the lanes and while the alley shuts down, the gang goes with the boss to investigate.

Synopsis[]

The gang visits to the alley and meets the boss and Sparky after solving the Pterodactyl mystery, but everyone is running away. The Skulldugger appeared, so the gang investigates. They talk with an employee and a player, Billy Ray Belmont, while Scooby and Shaggy go to the snack bar. They find the Skulldugger there again so they run through the bowling lanes.

Back with the rest of the gang, the boss tells the five that there are some electric problems on the lanes (where the monster chased Shag and Scoob), so they go to the lanes, with the boss shutting down the lane. On the lanes, they find out Sparky is missing, the Skulldugger's head attacks them, and they make up a plan how to trap the ghost. Shag and Scoob rare the bait - they stand on the lanes until the ghost attacks them and throws his head at them. The head falls, and the headless ghost is confused, but he still chases Scooby and Shaggy, with Scooby hitting the pins.

The ghost trips on a pin and is trapped. Billy Ray Belmont was the villain, Sparky was tied up, and the gang enjoys playing bowling and eating.
