History[]
March of Comics[]
The Spook was an enigmatic vampire who mysteriously showed up in the ghost town the gang explored as Velma was wanting to check around for a project in english class. He first went for Velma and almost pushed a gravestone over her and made her pass out in fear, he then magically appeared in the saloon scaring Daphne through a mirror. He reminds hidden for now as he freaked everybody out with his eerie laugh when they met back together at the cemetery.
He later showed up at the hotel where he flew from above, letting out the freaky laughter of his and making everyone except for Scooby faint. Scooby then rushed over to a nearby store and gets himself coated in flour before returning back and swinging on a wire, freaking out the Spook and crashes on top of him.
The Spook then revealed itself to actually be Boris Ghoulot, a retired actor who rigged the entire ghost town with props (examples of a wire to pretend he was flying, and a skeleton puppet) a projection (his reflection in the saloon mirror), and tricks to not cause harm, but instead frighten people for fun and ease up his boredom. He was forgiven however and he decided to reward the gang with free soda at his stand.
