Scooby-Doo! Stage Fright[]
In the guise of the Phantom, Dewey Ottoman stole it from the top of the building and proceeded to go down the fire escape, where he was spotted by Mystery Inc. He fled to his car, leading to the gang following him in the Mystery Machine around Chicago. When he cornered them at a raised drawbridge, he demanded that they hand it over, but Fred Jones tossed the bag over the bridge and Dewey dove after it, landing in a garbage boat. It turned out that Fred swapped the diamond with a dog bone as he still had it. He returned the diamond to the police when Dewey was arrested.
