- The design for the skeleton man's suit and mask bears a strong resemblance to the Sky Skeleton from the Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo episode "The Scary Sky Skeleton", most likely as another homage to the older episodes in the franchise to go with the movie's retro theme.
