Simone is an aspiring clown, comedian and ventriloquist, but is not very talented. She was in the same middle school drama club as Kenan Thompson and was a classmate of Christian Slater, attending their redo prom. She was also a villain, caught and unmasked by the Flash.

Physical appearance

Simone is a thin woman with pink hair, shaved at the sides, and black eyebrows. She wears multiple ear rings and a stud on each ear. She is roughly the same age as Christian Slater, as they were in the same high school year.

Her normal attire comprises a purple choker with a gold clasp at the front. She also wears a pink midriff-baring top, short jeans and pink lace-up sneakers.

As a clown, she wore a blue patterned suit with patches along with a blue top hat with a light blue band with a flower in it. On her hands were orange fingerless gloves. She also wore a pink waistcoat and an orange bow-tie with white spots. Her light pink shirt collar stuck out above her right shoulder. She carried a wooden cane and on her face she had white face-paint with a pink five o'clock shadow and a red nose. Her shoes were over-sized and orange.

As a villain, she wore a flowing light purple outfit.

Personality

Simone is naturally enthusiastic, but can be easily discouraged or embarrassed when things go wrong. At other times she can be oblivious to her ineptitude. She has long wanted to be a clown, and was angry that her high school prom was not clown themed and that she couldn't compete in the International Ice Games in her clown outfit.

As seen by her final words to Christian Slater, she can hold a grudge.

Season one

Simone unmasked by the Flash

Simone wants to be a clown but has her timing wrong, at one point accidentally letting Pazzo the Ghost Clown escape, until she finally gets it right when Pazzo is caught. But, even though she describes herself as Kenan Thompson's acting partner, and they were in the same drama club in middle school, just how did she get into the TV studio?

Simone is one of the culprits unmasked by the Flash, and put in jail. Exactly what she did was not revealed, although her outfit is similar to the Witch.

Simone is one of the contestants in the ventriloquist competition, but she confuses whether she or her dummy is supposed to be speaking, and flees the stage. Her dummy is a clown named Sparkee, who she abandons onstage. Ironically, Darci Lynne Farmer liked her performance as the confusion deconstructed the ventriloquist's art.

Simone is a classmate of Christian Slater and turns up for the redo of the prom in her clown outfit. She was unhappy about the original and redo proms not being clown themed, and so became a suspect. But Christian Slater tied her up, gagged her with tape, and put her in his bandages so the Gang would think he was still with them when the Werewolf appeared.

Season two

She was in Austria for the International Ice Games, but was banned from skating in her clown outfit, making her a suspect. She actually showed some ability as an ice skater, and was eventually allowed to compete.

Notes/trivia

• Simone is one of the only recurring characters in Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? besides the gang.
• Simone was somehow a classmate of Kenan Thompson and Christian Slater, despite the significant difference in age between the two actors and the fact that they are from different cities.
• Despite being a suspect on numerous occasions, the only time Simone was unmasked was by the Flash and her crime was not shown. It is unclear if her arrest was for something she actually did, though her appearances in subsequent episodes without any reference to her arrest suggests that she was quickly let out of jail and may not have been guilty of anything. It is possible that her unmasking was a subtle suggestion that Flash moved so quickly that he missed her innocence.
  • It was probably not meant to be taken seriously - it was a cameo.
