The Sheriff was a law enforcement officer.
Physical appearance[]
The Sheriff is an overweight elderly man with balding, white hair and a medium length mustache. He wore a short sleeve white collared shirt with a beige collared badge and a large black tie, he also had brown pants, black shoes, a wristwatch and was once had a light brown hat on with a white star on it which fell off his head while running.
Personality[]
He was concerned for the gang's safety when he noticed them driving towards the haunted hotel, in reality, he was just hiding his bad side.

The sheriff unmasked.
He saw the gang driving down the road towards the hotel at the end of town. He quickly ran over to the Mystery Machine and stopped by the driver's window to talk to Fred, he explains to them to not go to the hotel because of a Ghost Shoe that had been seen haunting the place every night, they didn't listen and went there because of a plan Fred had to trap the ghost.
The Sheriff was later revealed to be the culprit behind the Shoe Ghost, for reasons unknown.
