Sheila Altoonian was a friend of Nan Blake, but was jealous of her good looks, so she disguised herself as a vampire to steal odd ingredients for a youth potion.
Physical appearance[]
Sheila is a slim middle-aged woman with long slick black hair, a narrow chin, and a long wrinkled neck. She wears a sleeveless dress in three different shades of green, with a standing collar and knee-long skirt. She also wears beige high-heeled shoes and loose-hanging golden bracelets on both her wrists.
Personality[]
Sheila is a woman driven by vanity, obsessed with maintaining her young appearance. A middle-aged woman unable to come to terms with her ageing, she insists that her beauty is "fading" even though Mystery Inc. does not notice her ageing. She has grown deeply envious of her friend, Nan Blake, who managed to maintain her beauty as she aged. While Sheila initially appeared to be a supportive friend of Nan, she in reality had a deep hatred of her, blaming her for her own failures and her supposedly fading beauty.
Sheila's obsession with her appearance has led her down the path of superstition and paranoia. She accused Nan of secretly being a vampire, and resorted to a potion recipe she read in a magazine that promised "eternal youth." Though the recipe was intended only as satire, Sheila not only blindly believed it, but committed several crimes to acquire the ingredients. As such, Sheila's vanity has led her to destructive beliefs and actions, and she was driven to crime by her inability to cope with her ageing.
Skills and abilities[]
- Gliding: Sheila possesses extraordinary leg-muscle strength and gliding skills, allowing her to simulate flight while disguised as the vampire.
History[]
Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated[]
Season one[]
Sheila Altoonian was a friend of Nan Blake, mother of Daphne Blake. When she entered her middle ages, she developed an obsession with her ageing and sought solutions to preserve her beauty. Looking into the paranormal at the Crystal Cove Spook Museum, she read a satirical recipe for an "eternal youth serum" in a magazine, believing it to be true. As the four ingredients were rare and difficult to obtain, she disguised herself as a vampire to steal the ingredients from safe-guarded locations.

Sheila unmasked.
As the vampire, Sheila successfully stole the first three ingredients: a painting from an art auction, a star orchid from a botanical garden, and a rare bottle of wine only sold in one restaurant in Crystal Cove, the Crab Net of Dr. Calimari. In the third incident, Mystery Inc. attempted to stop the vampire but was unsuccessful, as the vampire evaded capture with the wine bottle. Finally, Sheila broke into the Darrow University's Museum of Oddities to steal the final ingredient, the Devil's Eye ruby. However, this time, she fell into a trap prepared by Mystery Inc., and after Daphne threatened to drive a stake into her heart, the vampire decided to unmask herself. Sheila was exposed for her crimes and handed over to Sheriff Bronson Stone for her crimes.[1]
Season two[]
Sheila was kidnapped by Professor Pericles along with the rest of Crystal Cove's inhabitants to dig for the gateway to the Cursed Treasure. She later escaped along with everyone else when the gang started a rebellion.[2]
When Mystery Inc. destroyed the Evil Entity and broke the curse haunting Crystal Cove, they created an entirely new timeline, erasing Sheila's crimes as the vampire from existence.[3]
