She and her boyfriend, Mike, were in his car at the "Lovers' Lane" scenic overlook where he gave her a heart necklace for Valentine's Day. Just then they were kidnapped by the evil clones of Mystery Inc.
She was allowed to escape, and when she saw the real gang the next day, she screamed and accused them of the kidnapping. It was later revealed J.C. Chasez was the mastermind behind the kidnappings in an attempt to frame Shaggy so Rachel, Shaggy's former girlfriend, would stop talking about him. He also willingly let Sheila go so she would identify Mystery Inc. as the ones who were responsible for all the abductions.
