The sheep rustler was a member of a sheep smuggling ring, tasked with dressing up as a werewolf to scare off intruders from finding out they were shearing and shipping off sheep in a remote forest's old mill and harbor, respectively.

Physical appearance

The sheep rustler is a Caucasian male, with dusty brown hair. He wears the werewolf disguise, consisting of brown pants torn off at the bottom, an oversize brown turtleneck sweater, and a tattered black overcoat. He also would wear boots and gloves to give the appearance of monstrous green skin, as well as the red-eyed green skinned werewolf mask.

He diligently plays his role of the Werewolf right up until when he gets stuck holding for dear life on a waterfall, breaking character and crying out for help with his regular voice.

Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!

Season two

Part of a sheep smuggling operation, his job was to disguise himself as a werewolf to scare off any intruders who posed a threat to their operation. This went on until the gang discovered the mill, and were close to learning of their smuggling ring. As the werewolf, he tried to scare them off, but they managed to evade him constantly. He then went after Scooby and Shaggy, and chased them down a river on a canoe. The chase ended when the three went down a waterfall. The gang managed to catch Scooby and Shaggy in a net. The sheep rustler luckily managed to avoid falling as well, his canoe having been caught on a rock, but was now hanging on for dear life. Now trapped and his life in danger, the sheep rustler finally surrendered and broke out of character, crying out to the gang for help. After the gang rescued him, he was then apprehended by the police, with the sheep smuggling exposed. He was apparently incarcerated afterwards.

  • Even though the other rustlers have been completely avoided, there's obviously at least one other off-screen sending the barrel in the Werewolf's direction. They're also conspicuously absent from the end when the sheep rustler disguised as the Werewolf is the only one captured on-screen. Either they've evaded capture or are being arrested off-screen.
  • This character initially went unnamed, however Capstone's Scooby-Doo! Enyclopedia lists his name as Frank Welker which is an homage to Frank Welker, who voiced the character.
