The gang gathered here trying to find something to do next, after Shaggy Rogers was told not to go on mysteries anymore due to his acute threat avoidance hypertrophy disorder. Fred explained that he's failing science and needed to find an extra-credit project. Meanwhile, they got to see what Scooby-Doo was like on an overdose of caffeine when Joe accidentally filled his water dish with coffee. Daphne Blake handed out a brochure of La Serena, a spa town, where there's also a paleontological dig, which Fred could volunteer to help.
