In the first issues of Scooby-Doo by DC Comics, Shaggy and Velma Dinkley were officially dating.
During winter break, he imagined his parents, Mr. Rogers and Mrs. Rogers, to be the neighbors Mr. and Mrs. Pasko in disguise when he misplaced his left shoe. His parents said he did something like that every time he came home for a visit.[3]
When Shaggy returned to the high school for a case. Principal Weathers was still in charge, and remembered that the cafeteria food bill went down dramatically after he graduated.[1]
