Summary[]
Shaggy's Uncle Albert, a great scientist, has suddenly died and left him as the heir to his fabulous wealth and his secret nanotechnology. Shaggy & Scooby have to face all kinds of dangers now, something they would never willingly do, but have to when his uncle's mad rival, Dr. Phibes, is bent on stealing it for himself so he can achieve immortality and take over the world--although not necessarily in that order.

Notes/trivia[]
- This marks the first season of a series not to have Casey Kasem as Shaggy, who voices his uncle, instead. However, Kasem still provided the voice of Shaggy in the DTVs that were being released at the same time (although they still kept with the What's New, Scooby-Doo? style and never referenced this series).
- Warner Home Video only released two DVDs with four episodes each.
