Shaggy's Sasquatch Search! is the second and final story in Scooby-Doo #10, by DC Comics. It was preceded by Six is a Crowd.
Premise[]
Shaggy goes hunting for Bigfoot in the Cascade Mountains, but Bigfoot only seems to appear when he is away looking for him.
Synopsis[]
Mystery Inc. visits the Cascade Mountains, but Shaggy ventures into the woods looking to capture Bigfoot on camera, despite Velma insisting it is a legend. After a day of searching, Shaggy finds nothing, but when he returns, he learns the locals had apparently spotted Bigfoot in the area. The next day, Shaggy attempts to find it, but once again finds nothing. The third day, he yells out in frustration, but spots a creature in the distance.
When he returns to the cabin, he learns another photographer had finally caught Bigfoot on camera. Mystery Inc. visits the photographer's cabin and watches the footage, only to find Shaggy on camera. Shaggy and the photographer had both mistaken each other for Bigfoot. Despite their searches for Bigfoot ending in failure, the photographer gets the idea of promoting Shaggy to tourists as Bigfoot, who pay to shake his hand.
