Scooby-Doo! and the Legend of the Vampire[]
Three men unmasked.
They menaced a cruise ship using their disguises and the sea serpent balloon, chasing after the Mystery Gang. Shaggy and Scooby slipped on a pail of water and landed in a pool, where they were attacked by the sea serpent. Just as the Sea Serpent Smugglers were about to harm Fred and the girls, Scooby stuck his claw into the sea serpent, revealing it to be a balloon, which proceeded to fly through the air and land on them, bringing about their defeat.

- The disguises of the Sea Serpent Smugglers were very similar to the monsters from Scooby-Doo, Where's the Crew? in that there was a ghostly human sailor, a kelp monster, and a fish creature. However, there are some major differences: Captain Pescado was an honest sailor, not a pirate like the Peg Leg Captain, Mr. Carp's Kelp Monster looked like it was made out of kelp while the Sea Serpent Smugglers' Kelp Monster was brown and furry, Mr. Carp's fish creature was an octopus instead of a shark, and the Sea Serpent Smugglers used an additional sea monster while Mr. Carp and his men relied on their own abilities.
