Scrappy & Yabba-Doo, also known as Scooby and Scrappy and Yabba-Doo[1] when grouped with the rest of season 3, is a series of segments within the third season of Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo (second series).
The sheriffs are called out to investigate cattle rustling at the McKay Ranch, so Yabba and Dusty go disguised as a lady bull and Scrappy as a cactus, to catch the thieves.
Yabba receives a letter and map to his new inheritance, Dry Gultch Gold Mine, but two claim jumpers, the Balton Brothers, steal the map and are on the run to see who gets the gold first.
The Great Mysto and his Mystifying Show come to Tumbleweed, and are ready to do their magic on the town. They make Deputy Dusty and Yabba Doo disappear and then take off with the bank's safe.
When Dusty yells at Scrappy, he feels he is no longer needed or loved, and runs away. He soon meets up with two "U.S. Marshalls," who are stealing silver bars off a train, and they need him to help them out.
Slippery Dan is an escape artist who the guys have to turn over to the warden at the state pen, but he soon escapes, and every time they recapture him, he escapes again.
Big Bad Bucko has escaped from jail, and is headed back to Tumbleweed to get revenge for being sent "up the river", and that has Dusty scared. Yabba and Scrappy help out though, because they don't want the townspeople to think Dusty's a coward.
The guys are digging holes for fence posts, and uncover a buried coffin with a vampire named Count Zarko inside. He soon turns the whole town to zombies, and has plans to take over Tumbleweed if the guys don't stop him.
Yabba, Dusty, and Scrappy have entered their horse, Wildfire, in the Tumbleweed Derby, and he's favored to win, but the owners of Cactus Flower want the trophy for themselves.
Deputy Dusty is running for re-election, but he has competition in Bart the jewel thief, who tries to pin a jewel robbery on Dusty so he won't win re-election. It's up to the guys to clear their name and put the real criminal in jail.
While star gazing, Scrappy notices a space ship, but he's not the only one. Dr. Bleek and Hugo from the local circus notice it too, and want to put the alien on the ship into their show. It's up to the guys to help out Zylon the Alien, before he's the main attraction.
Dusty and the dogs head to New York City to learn big city policing, but the New York police chief wants them to stay out of the way, and in the office. When Yabba answers a call about a phantom jewel thief at the Empire State Building, they decide to prove themselves in the big city.
River pirates strike in their town, and want to steal all the loot. When Yabba says the townpeople think Dusty's "Worth more than gold", the pirate gang steals Dusty too and demands $10,000 in ransom for his return.
Horrible Homer is lonely, tired of his cooking, and looking for a wife. He tells Deputy Dusty he will ruin the city of Tumbleweed if he doesn't find him a bride, and since all the eligible women said no, Yabba "Sue" dresses up to get the job done.
