The Scooby Snack Monster was the disguise of Trudy Lowe and Penelope Bailey, who independently created the same disguise to achieve opposite goals.

Physical appearance[]

It was an amorphous blob whose entire body was covered with a thick, brown layer of Scooby Snack batter. For some unexplained reason, it formed a working face, which resembled a skull with glowing yellow eyes.

Personality[]

Though Mystery Inc. was initially unaware of this, there were two Scooby Snack Monsters, each with their opposing goals. Both were hostile to intruders, scaring unauthorized people in the factory by chasing. Because they shared the same hostility toward Mystery Inc., they assumed there was only one monster. However, they each had different motives; Lowe's monster aimed to steal a recipe from the factory, whereas Bailey's monster sought to protect it. The monsters also acted notability different, first Lowie's monster was much more cowardly, due to her nature as a spy, it often tried to hide and avoid the gang. On the other hand Bailey's monster was much more intimidating acting cruel and sadistic and seems to enjoy making people it deems intruders suffer often in attempting to kill them in slow ways. Despite being rather relentless the snack monster often leaves once it's victims are in one of its death traps.

Powers and abilities[]

  • Controlling batter: Being a monster made entirely out of Scooby Snack batter, it left a trail of batter wherever it goes, as well as shooting it as projectiles from it's hands.

Season two[]

is revealed as the first Scooby Snack Monster.

Trudy Lowe is revealed as the first Scooby Snack Monster.

The Scooby Snack Monster was the disguise of Penelope Bailey and Trudy Lowe, both workers at the Scooby Snax Factory in Munchville, Ohio. Lowe aimed to scare away potential witnesses so she could get into the factory's vault, steal the Scooby Snack formula, and sell it to a rival factory. Meanwhile, Bailey, the daughter of the factory's owner, sought to protect the recipe from intruders such as Lowe. Because she was allergic to Scooby Snacks, she wore a hazmat suit under her costume. She was first seen attacking two intruders in the factory; both intruders escaped but failed in their mission.

When Mystery Inc. visited the factory on a tour, the monsters attacked them frequently, though never together. One monster first attacked Shaggy and Scooby, causing them to nearly get sucked into an industrial pipe. Then, Fred caught Lowe attempting to break into the vault, Lowe disguised herself as the monster to attack him. The monster nearly killed Shaggy and Scooby using the factory machinery, but each time they escaped.

 unmasked.

Penelope Bailey unmasked.

Mystery Inc. caught Lowe in a trap, luring her into a sanitation chamber and washing away the costume layer with water. However, upon exposing her, Velma realized there must be a second monster, as the monster had appeared long before Lowe started working at the factory. The second monster indeed appeared and chased Mystery Inc. around the factory, but accidentally fell into a vat of batter and was captured in a box. Bailey was unmasked and exposed for her crimes, but her father forgave her as she lacked criminal intent.

Notes/trivia[]

  • Although its never directly confirmed it seems like Trudy Lowe mostly likely only adopted the disguise when escaping Fred since, when we know she's in the "suit" the monster acts noticeably different than it normally does running away from the people it once terrorized.
