The Scooby-Doo impostor was the disguise of M'Lady Moonbeam, a smaller dog wearing a Scooby-Doo suit with stilts.

Physical appearance

The costume's physical resemblance to Scooby-Doo, a brown-furred, fully-grown Great Dane, was perfect, despite being collarless and having bushier eyebrows and a harsher expression.

The impostor didn't do a good enough job acting like Scooby, such as not not talking, being fiercer, and not showing the same interests. This gave the game away to Shaggy Rogers.
