Scooby-Doo, Shaggy Rogers and Scrappy-Doo

Shaggy holding Scrappy, standing next to Scooby.

Scooby-Doo, Shaggy Rogers, and Scrappy-Doo were members of Mystery Inc., before traveling the world on their own adventures and then forming the second incarnation of the Scooby-Doo Detective Agency with Daphne Blake.

Dynamic

Scooby is Scrappy's official caretaker, but Shaggy is the one who tells him to go to bed and sometimes scolds, but both seem to like eachother, though Scrappy doesn't display it as exuberantly as he does with his uncle Scooby. Scrappy is as fond of Scooby as ever.

History

Early life

While Shaggy and Scooby were pacing at St. Bernard's Memorial Hospital, they saw Scooby's pregnant sister Ruby-Doo taken to the delivery room for labor. She tells them not to worry and that she'll be fine. Shaggy says they won't, but they both fainted. The nurse woke them up after the baby's born and were overjoyed that it's a boy. They overheard Ruby naming her new son Scrappy, and liked it. Scrappy suddenly took off looking for action, with Shaggy and Scooby following him, accidentally provoking an orderly beginning a chase. Scrappy got in on the action later and witnessed them getting clobered. Scrappy grew fond of them and wanted to travel with them when he gets older. (Scrappy's Birthday)
