Notes/trivia[]
- Worldvision VHS:
- This is the only release to correctly exclude the exclamation mark from the title.
- The product description misleadingly mentions "Shaggy and the gang" despite the fact that Scooby-Doo is the only other original member of Mystery Inc. appearing in the film.
- There are no mentions of Scrappy-Doo or Googie in both the product description and images.
- Warner Home Entertainment VHS:
- Despite being proclaimed a "New Scooby-Doo Movie" in the product description, this film was about fourteen years old when this tape was released.
- As with the film's previous VHS release, there are no mentions of Scrappy-Doo in both the product description and images.
- On the back cover, it shows Frankenstein holding Scooby and Shaggy, which never happens in the film.
- On the front cover, Shaggy features his more common green shirt instead of his red shirt like in the actual film. This is also the case for the home video releases for Scooby-Doo Meets the Boo Brothers and Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School. Despite this the back cover features him wearing the correct shirt.
