Sam Winchester is a monster and ghost hunter and brother of Dean Winchester, who crossed into the world of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!

Physical appearance

Sam is an adult Caucasian male, with brown hair.

Sam simply sees Scooby-Doo as a past cartoon with no emotional attachment as does his brother and unlike Dean, who is attracted to unrequited Daphne Blake, Sam was put off by the fact that Velma Dinkley grew attracted to him. Although he understood by the end of the mystery, that he had to return them to their original state of mind that everything was fake.

Sam, Dean, and Castiel were sucked into the animated world of Scooby-Doo by a ghostly boy that was unwillingly enslaved by Jay in the real world who was a real estate developer, for his own gain and so now Sam and his brother must help the Scooby Gang solve a mystery when a Ghost kid crashed the events of A Night of Fright is No Delight from the original series.

Sam met up with the gang at the malt shop when his brother interacted with them, which included flirting with Daphne. They soon got themselves invited to the ghost sighting mystery with the mystery gang, telling them that they're also ghost hunters. They get to Colonel Beauregard Sanders's mansion in which they quickly learn was haunted by two phantom shadows. They soon find out it was a real ghost. The gang soon freak out, but Dean gave them a speech about bravery and everything they accomplished before giving them weapons to protect themselves.

They later capture the ghost, but being afraid, the gang don't want to go in the room where the ghost was sealed. Sam then told the gang it wasn't a real ghost, so it wouldn't cause any aberrations. Velma, who had been flirting with Sam the whole time, gave him a kiss goodbye on the lips. The child returned Castiel (who had also entered later on) and the Winchesters to the real world, and Sam watched his brother in tears destroy the knife in the television, putting the kid to rest. Afterwards, they went back to the pawn shop, finding Alan about to sign his store over to Jay, and confronted the real estate developer of his crimes, knowing he used the ghost to drive off owners to buy their property and then on Sam and Dean when they got to close to discover his plan. While they knew he would never be arrested for those actions, they hacked his finances and had him arrested for tax evasion.
