Roger Stevens was the manager of the TV station, KLMN.

Physical appearance[]

Mr. Stevens is a middle-aged man with gray hair. He wears a brown suit with a white shirt, black tie and black shoes.

Personality[]

He acted friendly with the gang, but this really served as a facade to a sinister and conniving side, who had no problem with framing his former wax figure maker for his own disappearance. He expressed his anger towards the gang when they uncovered his scheme. He's one of the few villains who was willing to commit murder for his scheme, as his intention of sending Shaggy and Scooby into liquid wax would certainly have killed them.

History[]

Early life[]

He fired Mr. Grisby, a wax sculptor, cancelling his show. Grisby swore his revenge on the station for cancelling him. He heard of Grisby's threat to bring the Wax Phantom figure to life to destroy the TV station for it, and that's what gave him the idea for his scheme later on.

Scooby-Doo, Where Are You![]

Season two[]

Roger Stevens is cracked free

Mr. Stevens is cracked free and exposed.

As the Wax Phantom, he stole money from the TV station's safe and disappeared; setting up clues and using Mr. Grisby's past as the perfect alibi. He planned to escape to South America with all the money he embezzled. However, his plan backfired and was caught when Mystery Inc. got involved.

Appearances[]

Notes/trivia[]

  • When the Wax Phantom first appears onstage, Stevens, the culprit behind the Wax Phantom, is seen on the far right of the stage even though he should be in the Wax Phantom costume. It’s possible he used a hologram.
