The Rocky Harbor Inn was an inn owned by Chef Edward DuFlay before and during the American Revolution. In the 21st century, his distant nephew, Bobby Flay, restored it while also turning it into the Rocky Harbor Culinary Resort.

Early history

It was established in 1721. When the American Revolutionary War started in 1725, it became a safe haven for all those involved. General Washington would pass on fake intel to Chef DuFlay to throw off his enemies, which would later make him look like a traitor working for the British.

A Red Coat barged into his inn one night, but when he yelled, all the town heard was "Red Ghost."
