After Shaggy Rogers, Scooby-Doo, and Scrappy-Doo accidentally boarded a Mars rocket, they found themselves chased by the mission robot, who mistook Scooby for a soil sample. Scrappy dismantled it into a rover vehicle. After they were warned by the scientists on Earth not to damage it, Scrappy re-assembled it "good as new," except that he reprogrammed it with a Scrappy-like personality.
